Wearing number 6, Graham stands about 5’11 and plays with the same fire his older brother showed back in high school.
He comes from a football family through and through. Their dad, Jason Simpson, has been the head coach at the University of Tennessee at Martin since 2006.
Their mom, Julie Simpson, has been the rock holding everything together while balancing crazy schedules.
Graham had a freshman year that people will talk about for a long time. In 2024, he threw for over 4,100 yards and 57 touchdowns with crazy efficiency.
He completed 239 of 315 passes, that’s 75.8 percent for 4,135 yards, 57 touchdowns, and only one interception.
Westview went 14-1 and reached the Tennessee 3A state championship game.
One night against Covington, Graham went off for a state-record 620 yards and eight touchdowns.
MaxPreps named him National Freshman of the Year. Not bad for a first-year varsity guy.
What stands out most is how he plays. Graham is an undersized field general who can operate on schedule and off it.
He embraces chaos with slick pocket movements and finds ways to make plays when things break down.

Colleges are noticing fast. Graham already holds scholarship offers from Tennessee and Ohio State.

“This one meant a lot, “I mean, if you were watching college football for the first time and you wanted to know who the true blue bloods were, Texas is one of them. I mean, the Vince Youngs and Colt McCoys, they are two of the greats, and getting an offer from them is definitely a dream come true.”

He enrolled early at Alabama in January 2022 and worked his way up. His college debut came in the opener against Utah State, and by August 2025, he had the starting job locked down.
Now the younger brother is following that same path, only faster. Graham grew up in Martin, Tennessee, right in the same hallways and on the same fields where Ty once starred.
