Dailyn Lamont Swain, a Columbus, Ohio native born on July 15, 2005, is making waves as a promising talent in college basketball.
The guard/forward started his collegiate journey at Xavier University.
He made his commitment on September 2, 2022, opting for the Musketeers despite interest from major programs such as Ohio State, Arkansas, and Clemson.
During his freshman season at Xavier, he led all six freshmen in minutes played at 18.9 per game and earned Big East Conference All-Freshman Team honors — a remarkable achievement before an appendectomy cut his season short in March 2024.
Following a complete recovery, Swain entered the NCAA transfer portal in March 2025. He then declared his commitment to the Texas Longhorns on April 1, 2025.
